Meet Mondays

I LOVE my sponsors!

They aren't just girls on my sidebar - but usually turn into my dear friends.
We video chat, text, whatever...I try to do my best to help them grow in any way possible.

And try visiting the south and saying your don't like sweat tea! You could say you just kicked a puppy and people would think you were a better person than me for not liking tea. >_<

  4. Kaitlyn,

I found your blog thru Emily Crider. and she's now the one reason why I'm doing what I'm doing and making this decision in what I'm doing. If you wanna know more you'll have to swing over to my blog. http://laneyg02.blogspot.com/

As I see you have positive feed back as well. I was in the middle of reading comments on Emily's blog and came across this story and toward the end of it, I began to welp. and was wondering if I could use this story and link it back to you. Please let me know ASAP if you can.

There was a young girl who had a cheap pearl necklace. She loved it and wore it every day.
Her dad would always ask her, "Do you love me?"
She would say, "Of course I do daddy! More than anything."
"Then give me your pearl necklace"
"Oh no daddy! Anything but that" She would grip it tightly and not want to let go. He would ask her every day with the same answer. Then one day she came to him, tears running down her face, and handed her necklace to her dad. He looked at her, smiled, and then out of his pocket pulled a beautiful REAL pearl necklace and put it on her.

All he wanted was her to trust him. He had something 1,000 times better waiting for her all along.

I was afraid I'd never get married, I was afraid to move, I was afraid of a lot of things...but God was just waiting for me to trust Him so He could give me my pearl necklace...a life 1,000 times better than I could have ever imagined.

He's holding your pearl necklace too...just trust Him (:
