About Me

Hello! I'm Kaitlyn. I got married in June 2012 to the most amazing man I could have ever asked for, Ryan. You can read all about our crazy, unbelievable love story here. If you want to see all of my past posts about our marriage or things I have learned as a newlywed, click the photo to the left.

A week after we got married, we packed up our life in Nashville and move to the-middle-of-nowhere, Arizona. It was there that I decided to create a blog to keep our families and friends updated on our new life. Shortly after starting Wifessionals, I fell in love with the blogging community and everything it offered. It has introduced me to some of the sweetest women and now, dearest friends, that I have ever met.

6 months after moving to Arizona we were restationed to Colorado! Yes, all of our travels are thanks to Uncle Sam. Ryan is in the Army, which means that I have had the wonderful learning experience of being an Army wife. I always thought I would never marry into the military lifestyle, but as I have come to realize, life doesn't usually turn out like you would expect...which I am finding out is usually a blessing (: If you want to catch up on any of our past military experiences, click the picture to the right.

This past January, we found out that we will be adding a new member to our family this Fall! Discovering we were pregnant was an overwhelming blessing, as we lost our first pregnancy last year. It has been an exciting journey so far, and I am learning that I need to trust God with my worries and concerns. As we enjoy the last half of my pregnancy, I am getting so antsy to meet our little bean and begin our journey as new parents!

If you want to see all of the posts relating to our pregnancy, including series and advice from other moms, click on the picture to the left.

I absolutely love meeting new people and making friends. I would love to chat with you about anything! One of the things I love doing most, is connecting with smaller bloggers and helping them grow. If you have any questions, feel free to email me.

Above all else, I love my life. I love my family and my husband and everything that we have been blessed with. It's a crazy and unpredictable life that we lead, but I wouldn't want it any other way! If you would like to read more about our adventures, click the picture to the right.

Thanks for stopping by!

  34. Okay, from one ex-Nashvillian to another- Hello Hello Hello! I just somehow found my way to your blog and got so excited to see you were a Nashville girl. In June of 2012 I also packed up my life with my fiance and moved all the way across the county to California. We got married last September and by November we found out we were expecting a baby! Baby boy is due in 10 more weeks and I'm so glad I stumbled onto your blog! Tons of blessings and love from San Diego!

  35. I just stumbled across your blog and I love it! I too am from Nashville...well Hendersonville to be exact. My husband is in the Air Force and we are stationed in Washington state. We just welcomed our first baby girl in May so I love reading all your posts about becoming a mommy! It is such an amazing thing and I had no idea just how much I would love having a little mini me! Can't wait to read more from you! Congrats on your upcoming bundle of joy!

  36. Hi! I don't remember how I found your blog because I stumble across so many just by clicking through things but I'm really glad I did because I love reading your posts! I'm not married/expecting any children for a few years but I can't help loving reading about women who are. And I especially love reading posts having to do with army life because my boyfriend just recently committed to the Air Force.
Anyway, I just wanted to say hi and introduce myself as a follower! Congrats on your baby girl (PS her name is beautiful!) and have a good day! :)
